Job Description

Charter One works with schools across the country to provide all-inclusive education management services. At Charter One we pride ourselves on our thorough knowledge of charter school operations, academics, finance, human resources, information technology, marketing, and more. We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly. American Leadership Academy is accepting applications for a Building Coach for the 2026-2027 school year at our Ironwood Elementary campus. Candidates are required to obtain an AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Facilitates the professional development of teachers with a focus on improving student achievement Creates positive, professional relationships with teachers and administrators Communicates and demonstrates instructional practices that result in increased student performance Provides individualized, classroom-based coaching with teachers to support them in implementing sound instructional practices Provides organized, individual and/or group learning opportunities for teachers as needed Provides support in analyzing student assessment data Assists teachers with designing instructional decisions based on assessment data Provides support in the form of mentorship, or co-teaching to convey effective classroom management strategies Provides teachers resources related to curriculum and instruction Models effective instruction when needed Initiates the Collaborative Observation Process by scheduling observations, collecting evidence related to the Danielson Framework, and leading reflection conferences Attends RFT/SST Team, Campus and District meetings/trainings as directed Assists and/or coordinates the implementation and interpretation of a comprehensive needs assessment with Administration and Federal Programs Director Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications:
Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Bachelor's degree At least three years' experience in a 7-12 environment 3-5 years experience as a classroom teacher with evidence of student data as proof of effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications:
