Job Summary:
Perform a large volume of complex secretarial tasks for various programs within the Curriculum and Instruction Department Answer departmental phone calls and respond to requests for information and take messages for staff members in a courteous, effective manner Handle and file confidential records, correspondence, grants, and data Assist the Director of Curriculum and Instruction in day-to-day operations Monitor and track expenditure activity for all Title Grants Coordinate and assist in all events related to curriculum and instruction Register and organize all professional development activities Possess and understand the school district level of confidentiality Have excellent organizational and communication skills Maintain book inventory Prioritize to meet time constraints and deadlines for scheduled programs and events
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferably experience in school office setting or equivalent Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Publisher) Knowledge of office procedures and equipment Highly self-motivated and able to work independently
