Superintendent Position Summary:

Edina Public Schools is seeking exceptional candidates with a proven record of success for a Director of Achievement Equity and Multilingual Learner Programming position. With the focus to support and advance the Edina Public Schools' mission, vision and core values, the Director of Achievement Equity and Multilingual Learner Programming provides strategic leadership and expertise to advance district efforts that ensure equitable access, meaningful opportunities, and improved outcomes for historically underserved students. The Director leads and supports district-wide efforts to develop a culturally proficient school system (CPSS) and oversees the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of multilingual learner programming and key equity-focused initiatives. Responsibilities include leadership of the district's Achievement and Integration Plan, Language Instruction Educational Program (LEIP), Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID), and American Indian Education Programs. The Director also advances district-wide initiatives that foster student and family engagement, equity, inclusion, belonging, and culturally responsive practices, while building the capacity of staff and systems to address opportunity and achievement gaps. Education and Experience Requirements:

. A master's degree. A Minnesota Administrative License A minimum of five (5) years related experience are required. Minnesota English language learner teaching license preferred.

Salary:

The annual salary for this twelve-month position is $164,204. This position is eligible for a salary increase for the 2026-2027 fiscal year, subject to the School District's compensation improvement process.
