Job Description
Job Overview 4-Day Work Week 8am-4pm Monday-Thursday The Director of Academics provides spiritual, instructional, and organizational leadership for the academic program at Stafford Farm School (a K-8 Christian hybrid school that educates students 3 days per week and supports families with homeschooling two days a week). This role ensures that the school's curriculum, teaching practices, and student support systems align with the mission of SFS and foster a Christ-centered learning environment where both students and teachers thrive. Because Stafford Farm School operates as a homeschool hybrid program, the Director of Academics also plays an important role in strengthening the partnership between teachers and parents. This includes helping maintain clear communication, shared expectations, and a collaborative approach that supports students both at school and at home. The Director of Academics works closely with the Director and teaching team to cultivate a culture of excellence, collaboration, growth, and grace, while helping ensure that the academic vision and goals of the school are clearly communicated and consistently implemented. Responsibilities Lead the school's enrollment process by helping families understand the mission and academic program of SFS. Provide leadership and support to the teaching team in order to cultivate a healthy, collaborative, and mission-aligned academic culture. Lead, train, and empower Team Leads to successfully thrive in their respective roles. Supervise, support, and empower Curriculum & Intervention Specialist. Help strengthen the partnership between teachers and parents, recognizing the vital role families play in a homeschool hybrid model Plan and facilitate collaborative staff meetings Ensure the academic systems and supports are functioning effectively across grade levels. Lead the recruitment and hiring process for teaching positions. Support school leadership in strategic planning and special initiatives. Qualifications A strong and growing Christian faith Models Christ-centered leadership and relationships Ability to lead with humility, wisdom, and grace Teaching License Strong understanding of curriculum development and instructional best practices Minimum of 5 years classroom teaching experience Empowers others and builds strong teams Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills Skilled in problem-solving and decision making Strategic thinker and planner Highly organized with strong follow-through Strong technology proficiency
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per yearBenefits:
