Job Description

Position Summary The Director of Education oversees all academic operations, supervises instructors, maintains curriculum standards, and ensures compliance with the Pennsylvania Department of Education (Private Licensed Schools Board). This role is essential for school licensing and ongoing program quality. Key Responsibilities Oversee all academic programs and instructional quality Maintain and update curriculum in accordance with state requirements Supervise, mentor, and evaluate instructors Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania massage therapy education standards Manage student academic progress and clinic performance Participate in hiring and training instructional staff Maintain accurate academic records and documentation Assist with state licensing, audits, and renewals Represent the school professionally in the community Required Qualifications Active Pennsylvania Massage Therapist License (LMT) Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in massage therapy Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and massage techniques Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to supervise instructors and manage academic operations Strong organizational and documentation skills Commitment to professional ethics and student success Preferred Qualifications Experience in curriculum development Experience in school administration or program leadership Familiarity with Pennsylvania Private Licensed School regulations Experience managing student clinics

$35.00 - $40.00 per hour
