Instruct classes in studio arts media such as painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, and ceramics. Position includes oversight of one or more of the specializations of studio arts above, including maintaining and ordering instructional supplies.

EXPERIENCE

: Preference may be given to candidates with life or teaching which would demonstrate the clear ability to: Teach all levels of ceramics from beginning to advanced Wet slab, leather hard, and coil method projects High fired gas and kiln maintenance, loading/firing, Raku firing, and safety for students Wheel throwing projects suitable for beginning to advanced students Art studio maintenance and ordering of art supplies

Comfortable working at heights above six feet, including walking on high cat walk spaces above the auditorium Bending, stooping, kneeling, & crawling Pushing, pulling, guiding materials Stand, walk on unstable surface Lifting greater than 50 lbs.
