Header Overview We invite you to join our dynamic educational team as a Special Education Trainer specializing in music and drama! In this energetic role, you will inspire and support students with diverse learning needs, helping them enhance their language and social skills through activities such as role-playing and singing. You will have the opportunity to design your own lesson plans to foster communication skills and help every student thrive. Duties Develop and implement educational plans tailored to students' unique needs in music and drama, ensuring compliance with educational regulations and standards. Design engaging lesson plans and adapt instructional methods to meet the needs of students with disabilities. Conduct diverse instructional activities—including singing, dancing, role-playing, musical theater, and stage performance—while incorporating speech therapy and literacy education. Utilize behavioral therapies, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and behavior management strategies to foster positive classroom behavior and social skills. Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, parents, and other professionals to coordinate services such as speech therapy, recreational therapy, and music or drama therapy. Qualifications Hold a bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, with a focus on inclusive education practices; a master's degree is preferred. Hold a valid special education teaching certificate/license or equivalent qualification; possess at least one year of experience working with students with disabilities. Possess experience in classroom and behavior management for students with diverse special needs. Skilled in designing music and drama curricula for students with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Familiar with various educational technology tools (such as educational software, assistive devices, and multimedia resources) and able to utilize them to enhance the learning experience. Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with parents, collaborate within a team, and mentor colleagues.
