  • Denver, CO Do you love working with elementary-aged children?
We're looking for reliable, energetic instructors to lead fun after-school enrichment classes in Denver-area schools. Creative Dance Kids provides engaging introductory enrichment programs in: Dance, Tumbling, Theater, Broadway Dance, Yoga, Bucket Drumming, and Photography We offer these programs for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. You don't need to be an expert in every subject. We are looking for people who are confident leading groups of children, enjoy being active and creative, and can create a positive classroom environment. This role is a great fit for: Former or current preschool teachers, daycare teachers, or childcare providers Camp counselors or recreation staff Paraprofessionals, teacher assistants, or substitute teachers College students or graduates studying education, child development, theater, music, dance, or recreation Nannies, babysitters, or anyone with strong experience working with children Dancers, theater enthusiasts, or yogis (Must have experience with kids) Someone available between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Pay & Schedule $45
  • 60 per class Teach 1-7 classes per week based on availability Monday-Friday only Before-school and/or after-school classes
  • occassional mid day options No late evenings or weekends Work at schools and daycares throughout the Denver area This Is a 1099 Independent Contractor Position This is not a traditional employee position.
As an independent contractor, you: Choose which classes fit your schedule Drive directly to each school location Manage your own schedule and availability Submit invoices for payment This role is ideal for dependable, self-motivated professionals who enjoy flexibility and can work independently. What You'll Do Lead engaging enrichment classes for elementary-aged students Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment Keeps students engaged while managing classroom behavior positively Arrives prepared and on time for every class Communicate professionally with our team and school staff
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with children in schools, childcare, camps, or similar settings Can confidently manage a classroom of elementary-aged children Is dependable, organized, and professional Enjoys encouraging creativity, confidence, and teamwork Can follow lesson plans while bringing positive energy to every class Requirements Reliable transportation to travel to school locations in the Norman area Cell phone and portable Bluetooth speaker Ability to pass required fingerprinting/background requirements after hiring Excellent punctuality and communication Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule Time Commitment Approximately 1 hour (class time) and 30 minutes per class (including setup 30 minute pre arrival) Typical weekly hours: 1.75-12 hours , depending on the number of classes you accept If you enjoy working with children and are looking for flexible, rewarding work where you can make a difference in students' lives, we'd love to hear from you.
