Musical Theater Instructor - (Youth)

The Youth Musical Theater Instructor leads engaging, age -appropriate classes that introduce children (ages 5-12) to the fundamentals of musical theater, including acting, singing, and basic movement. This role focuses on building confidence, creativity, teamwork, and performance skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and teach weekly musical theater classes tailored to different age groups (5-12) Introduce basic skills in: Acting and character development Vocal technique and singing Movement, dance, and stage presence Lead warm-ups, theater games, and rehearsal activities Direct short performances, showcases, or recitals Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere Adapt lessons to varying skill levels and learning styles Manage classroom behavior in a constructive and age-appropriate way Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and performance details Collaborate with other instructors or staff for productions or events
