Part-Time Experienced theatre instructor needed for Thursdays starting in

September Description:

The Hanover Theatre Conservatory is currently seeking an experienced Theater Instructor to work with children in grades 2nd through 7th in 3 classes on Thursday evenings. Classes run from September through May. They must possess a deep understanding of creative classroom management and create a safe, supportive and structured classroom environment. Must be able to create and execute lesson plans based on a curriculum outline. Must be passionate about the performing arts and child development. Class schedule is Thursday 4- 7pm. T is also the possibility to sub for other classes throughout the week and teach our STEAM workshops during the school day.

Qualifications:

Must be willing and available to work on-site in Worcester, MA. In-depth knowledge and expertise in theater and performance. Knowledge and demonstrated practice of effective classroom management strategies to maintain a safe and effective learning environment. Strongmunication skills (both verbal and written). Demonstrated leadership ability. Effective prioritization and multitasking skills. Collaborative decision-making skills in a team environment. Detail oriented with ability to effectively multitask. Must have reliable transportation.
