VoIce Instructor Description:

Jo Ann Warren Studio / Studio Youth Theatre is seeking a Vocal Instructor for the 2026-2027 season to join our performing arts faculty and help young performers build confidence, technique, and a genuine love of singing and performance. This is a great fit for someone who loves working with young performers and can make vocal training both high-quality and fun, while creating a supportive environment w each student feelsfortable developing their individual voice. Our Ideal Candidate Our perfect fit is someone who: Is passionate about teaching and encouraging young singers and performers. Is excited to work with students approximately ages 6-14. Has experience teaching voice, music, and/or musical theatre. Can teach healthy, age-appropriate vocal technique in an engaging way. Creates a positive classroom environment focused on confidence, self-expression, friendship, and growth. Isfortable taking initiative with curriculum and lesson planning. Is reliable, punctual,anized, andmunicative. Enjoys collaborating with theatre instructors and fellow faculty. Is interested in finding a performing arts home and bing part of a growing studiomunity.

Qualifications:

Experience in vocal instruction, music education, musical theatre, or a related field. Experience working with elementary and/or middle school-aged students. Knowledge of healthy, age-appropriate vocal technique. Ability to lead both group instruction and individual vocal work. Professional, reliable, enthusiastic, and collaborative. Ability to provide strong references. Reliable transportation. Background check required before employment is finalized.
