Upper School Technical Theatre Director & Teacher

Durham Academy is accepting applications for an Upper School Technical Theatre Director/Teacher to begin August 1, 2026. Candidates should have some successful experience teaching or working with students. All candidates must have a bachelor s degree in Technical Theatre or a related field; master s degree or commensurate experience preferred. Our ideal candidate will feel comfortable assuming the following roles:

Teacher for 1-2 sections of Technical Theatre Scenic/Lighting Designer and Technical Director for

US Performing Arts Theatre:

Fall Play and Winter Musical Dance:

Winter and Spring concerts
