Job Description
Ateres Bnos Ita, an all-girls high school in Las Vegas, is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Graphic Design Teacher to teach a high school elective course during the 2026-2027 school year. This is a part-time position teaching two afternoons per week. The course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of graphic design through engaging, hands-on projects that foster creativity, visual communication, and real-world design skills. Responsibilities Teach the fundamental elements and principles of graphic design Introduce students to Canva and guide them in using the platform effectively Develop creative, project-based assignments that allow students to apply design skills Teach an introductory unit on 3D design and 3D printing Guide students in producing one school newsletter each semester Provide clear instruction, feedback, and support to students with varying levels of experience Create a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, experimentation, and growth Collaborate with school administration regarding curriculum goals and student progress Qualifications Experience in graphic design, visual communication, marketing, branding, or a related field Proficiency in Canva Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to design and manage hands-on student projects Enthusiasm for working with high school students Patience, flexibility, creativity, and a growth-oriented mindset Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, 3D design software, or 3D printing is preferred but not required. Teaching experience is welcomed but not required.
