Your expertise in movement arts will help students develop strength, flexibility, coordination, and confidence while exploring the exciting world of acrobatics. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive lesson plans tailored to different age groups and skill levels, incorporating elements of choreography, dance instruction, and physical training. Lead engaging acrobatics classes that emphasize proper technique, safety protocols, and creative expression. Manage classroom dynamics effectively to ensure a positive, inclusive environment that encourages participation and growth. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development in acrobatics and related arts. Incorporate diverse arts disciplines such as theater, dance, music, photography, sewing, or culinary arts into lesson plans when appropriate to enrich the learning experience. Maintain safety standards by supervising all activities closely and ensuring proper use of equipment and props. Collaborate with colleagues to plan special performances or showcases that highlight student achievements in acrobatics and performing arts. Qualifications Proven experience teaching acrobatics, dance instruction, or movement-based arts with a focus on safety and technique. Strong background in choreography, ballet, theater arts, or related creative performance disciplines. Experience working with children and youth programs; familiarity with early childhood education or preschool settings is a plus. Knowledge of classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques for diverse age groups. Skills in curriculum development across visual & performing arts including music, photography, sewing, or culinary arts are desirable. Ability to plan lessons effectively while adapting to individual student needs; experience in special education or childhood development is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for working with students, parents, and team members to foster a supportive learning environment.
