21st CCLC Program Teacher•
Job Description Location:
One Voice One Community Hourly Rate:
$27/per hour East End United Community Center is seeking qualified candidates for our program as classroom teachers at One Voice One Community locations. This program comprises students entering grades 6-9 for the 2026-2027 school year. Our students receive daily instruction in core subject areas and the opportunity to participate in enrichment activities. Qualified candidates will be expected to carry out the teaching duties required for the East End United Community Center's 21st CCLC Program as well as participate in experiences presented by various partner organizations. Specifically needed someone with a music/theater background.
Responsibilities:
  • Create a classroom culture that encourages group thinking, curiosity, and discovery
  • Collaborate with staff to design and implement integrated lessons with a strong
S.T.E.A.M.
emphasis
  • Communicate with students, parents, staff, and students' daytime classroom teacher (when applicable)
  • Implement EEUCC's daily expectations
  • Keep accurate records of attendance, activities, and lesson plans
  • Commitment to classroom engagement
  • Other duties as necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University
  • Teaching Certification strongly recommended with emphasis on music/theater
  • Strong classroom management and organization
  • Experience working with students in a classroom setting
  • Experience writing and completing lesson plans
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of current educational research
  • Must obtain PA Child Abuse, FBI, and Criminal Background Check clearances
When:
  • The 26-27 program begins September 14, 2026, and ends May 20, 2027 (there is no program if there is no school or early dismissal
  • scheduled or emergency). Monday
  • Thursday, 2:45
  • 5:45 PM.
