Duties Develop and implement comprehensive music and performing arts while preparing two musical performances per year in a K - 12 Christian school. Plan and deliver engaging activities that incorporate various teaching methods, including hands-on activities, performances, and technology integratio Assess student progress regularly through performance evaluations and classroom participation Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, upcoming performances, and participation in musical programs Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance data, and instructional modifications in compliance with educational regulations Requirements Some experience in teaching of music or performing arts at elementary or middle/high school levels Understanding of childhood development principles related to musical arts education and behavior management techniques Ability to adapt lessons for different learning styles and ability levels to foster inclusive participation Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, parents, and community partners Demonstrated ability to manage classroom environments effectively while promoting creativity and engagement Join us in nurturing young talents through inspiring music and performing arts education!
