We are committed to helping our students achieve their career goals and provide the transportation industry the best trained drivers on the road! Are you tired of being on the road every night? Would you like to have a set schedule? Put your professional truck driving experience and expertise to use to help new drivers launch their career! WorldLink Truck Driving Academy is seeking motivated, experienced CDL drivers to add to our team of high performing Class A CDL Truck Driving Instructors.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver classroom, equipment, range, and road instruction Monitor student progress and provide additional assistance as necessary Prepare reports and records accurately and completely as required by laws, policies, and school regulations Manage student behavior in the classroom and on the range by enforcing rules and procedures Keep current with laws and developments related to commercial truck driving Use relevant technology to support instruction Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
MUST have a valid CDL Class A license with a MINIMUM of 3 years verifiable tractor trailer driving experience; Driver Training Instructor License is not required but preferred Must possess a clean driving record: no more than 2 driving offenses or accidents in the past 2 years and no DUI in the past 10 years Must be physically able to operate motor vehicle Be patient and a good leader to students Have strong verbal and written communication skills Must be at least 25 years of age Must possess at least a HS diploma or GED Must have basic computer capabilities Must bring a strong work ethic coupled with tenacity, self-motivation, and problem solving Any education experience is a big plus
