Duties Deliver engaging and effective driving lessons tailored to each student's skill level and learning style Assess students' driving abilities through practical tests and provide constructive feedback for improvement Develop personalized lesson plans that cover essential driving skills, safety protocols, and traffic laws Maintain a safe, supportive learning environment by managing classroom activities and ensuring student engagement Communicate clearly with students about their progress, expectations, and areas for development Keep accurate records of lessons, student progress, and assessments in compliance with licensing standards Stay updated on current traffic regulations, safety standards, and best teaching practices to ensure high-quality instruction Qualifications Proven experience in driving with a valid driver's license in California Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate and connect with adult learners or new drivers Excellent communication skills to clearly explain driving techniques and safety procedures Classroom management experience or the ability to create a positive learning environment for students Knowledge of traffic laws, road safety practices, and vehicle operation fundamentals Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students, demonstrating patience and professionalism Prior classroom experience or training in adult education is a plus but not mandatory Plus if you already have your driving instructor license Clean Driver License record Must be 21+ (DMV requirements) Join us in shaping confident, responsible drivers while advancing your career in driver education!
