What they do

A Driving Instructor is responsible for teaching students the rules of the road and the safe way to handle an automobile or motorcycle. This may involve both classroom and/or behind the wheel instruction. They are required to remain up to date with their regional and national traffic laws to insure proper curriculum and demonstration. at Pacific Beach and Mission Beach Pacific Surf is hiring passionate, experienced surf instructors to join our crew in sunny Southern California. If you're all about teaching, surfing, and sharing the stoke with others, this could be the best job you'll ever have. We value professionals who are serious about surf education, ocean safety, and creating unforgettable experiences for students of all levels.
Available Positions:
Part-Time & Full-Time (year-round availability preferred) Shifts include: 8:15 AM
  • 12:00 PM 8:30 AM
  • 5:00
PM What We're Looking For:
Minimum 2 years of surf instruction experience (required for higher pay tier) Strong swimming skills & ocean safety awareness CPR, First Aid, and Open Water Safety certifications (we'll help direct you to certification if needed) Great physical condition (this is an active, outdoor role) Positive, team-oriented attitude A true passion for teaching and inspiring others through surfing
