We need someone responsible, organized, energetic and that has a love of surfing. Must be very energetic and attentive when giving lessons. Must have a clean driving record. Must be someone that has a minimum of 5 years of surfing experience. This can be part time or full time depending on interview. The right candidate must have the following for the role of surf instructor:
  • Clean driving record: parking tickets are ok.
  • Upbeat and happy personality
  • Organized
  • 5 years surfing experience
  • meaning you've surfed for at least 5 years, not necessarily teaching.
  • Flexible
  • Great people skills (WE
ARE VERY CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED
)
  • Must be active
  • Always on time
Surf Instructor Job Duties:
  • Leading Surf lessons
  • Safety orientation
  • Daily set up and tear down; general cleaning after lessons
  • Renting to customers
  • Customer Service Compensation is hourly pay plus gratuity, tips, and bonuses.
