Join Mile High Kids Collective as a Little Medical School Instructor and inspire the next generation of doctors, nurses, veterinarians, and healthcare heroes! We're looking for 8-9 energetic, dependable instructors to teach our hands-on Little Medical School enrichment programs for children ages 4-12 at schools and community sites throughout the South Denver Metro Area. About the Role Our 12-week fall season begins in mid-September , with paid training in mid-August . Instructors who are a great fit will have the opportunity to continue teaching future seasons and year-round programs. Each class is fully planned for you—no lesson planning required! You'll arrive with a curriculum kit filled with real medical tools like stethoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, reflex hammers, kid-sized lab coats, and more. During each 60-minute class, you'll guide children through exciting, hands-on activities as they explore the world of medicine. From listening to heartbeats and learning how X-rays work to caring for stuffed animal patients, every class is designed to spark curiosity and build confidence. No medical experience is required. We'll provide paid training, a detailed curriculum, and all the materials you'll need to succeed. Schedule This is a very part-time position , with instructors typically working 5-10 hours per week based on availability and class assignments. Most classes take place Monday through Friday . Afternoon classes typically begin between 2:15 PM and 3:15 PM and last approximately one hour. Additional classes and special events may occasionally be available on weekends. This position is perfect for college students, substitute teachers, stay-at-home parents, retired educators, healthcare professionals, or anyone looking for meaningful part-time work. What You'll Do Travel to assigned schools and community locations throughout Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Parker, Centennial, and Englewood . Arrive on time and prepare your classroom before students arrive. Teach engaging, hands-on lessons using our curriculum and provided materials. Create a fun, safe, and positive learning environment for groups of up to 12 children. Communicate with site staff and occasionally connect with parents at pickup. Pack up your supplies and prepare for your next class. Children of instructors are eligible to receive a 100% discount on Little Medical School programs, space permitting.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
