True Safety CDL School is expanding and looking for confident, safety-minded Class A CDL professionals to join our instructor team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coaching others, takes pride in the trucking industry, and wants flexible contract work with a growing, established CDL school. We have a steady need for additional support with CDL classes in both Greeley and Henderson , including weekday, evening, and weekend schedules. If you are only able to work at one location, we still encourage you to apply. What You'll Do You will help students build the knowledge, confidence, and hands-on skills needed to earn their CDL and begin a successful driving career. Deliver hands-on CDL instruction in the classroom, yard, and on the road Coach students through pre-trip inspections, backing maneuvers, road driving, and test preparation Provide clear feedback, encouragement, and professional coaching Evaluate student progress and help ensure they are ready for Colorado CDL testing Maintain accurate training documentation in accordance with ELDT, Colorado, and company requirements Help keep trucks, trailers, and training equipment safe, clean, and ready for class Represent True Safety's high standards for safety, professionalism, and student success What We're Looking For Valid Class A CDL required Prior CDL training, driver-training, or commercial driving experience required Strong understanding of CDL regulations, ELDT requirements, and safe driving practices Patient, dependable, and able to coach students with different experience levels Comfortable teaching in a hands-on environment and on public roads Flexible availability for weekday, evening, and/or weekend classes Clean driving record preferred Bilingual English/Spanish is a major plus Why This Is a Great Opportunity Flexible contract schedule that works around your availability Choose to support Greeley, Henderson, or both locations Evening and weekend opportunities available Be part of a respected, growing Colorado CDL school Work with a supportive operations team and structured training program Make a real impact by helping students build careers in transportation Competitive hourly pay based on experience, qualifications, and availability Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, drive, and instruct for extended periods Ability to safely enter and exit commercial vehicles Ability to observe and coach students during yard and road instruction Ability to lift at least 15 pounds Ability to work while using required PPE Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities
