- must be able to pass MVR, background, Clearinghouse and drug screen

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The primary function of a Yard Instructor is to instruct, evaluate, and prepare new trainees for over-the-road truck driving.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct instruction and hands-on training related to all aspects of commercial over-the-road truck driving that trainees are required to master before being released into their own tractor-trailer unit Constructively evaluate trainees and give feedback Maintain and uphold the TMC Transportation values

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Ability to communicate and interact with trainees in a learning environment. Must hold and maintain a valid Class "A" Commercial Drivers License (CDL). Excellent driving record. Prior driving experience

REQUIRED.

Experience backing and operating a tractor-trailer unit in town and confined spaces.
