Private / In-Home Martial Arts Instructor MUE LLC Lombard, IL Job Details Part-time $65 - $95 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Martial arts coaching experience Working with students Taekwondo Performing background checks Full Job Description Private In-Home Martial Arts Instructor Overview We are looking for an experienced martial arts instructor to provide private lessons for two students in our home. Instruction will be tailored to each student's skill level and goals, with an emphasis on proper technique, discipline, and confidence-building. This is a paid, recurring position with a dedicated training space provided on-site. Duties Deliver private martial arts lessons for two students in the client's home Design and maintain individualized training plans based on each student's age, skill level, and objectives Teach core techniques in your discipline (e.g., Karate, Judo, Taekwondo, Jiu-Jitsu, or similar) Monitor and track student progress; provide regular feedback to students and parents Maintain a safe, respectful, and focused learning environment throughout each session Adapt instruction style to suit different learning paces and physical abilities Qualifications Demonstrated experience teaching martial arts — formal instructor certification preferred Comfortable working with students of varying ages and skill levels in a private setting Strong communication skills and a patient, consistent teaching approach Reliable, punctual, and professional Experience with youth instruction or coaching is a plus Must pass a background check prior to first session
Schedule & Location Location:
Client's home in Lombard, IL Training space provided on-site — no equipment setup required from instructor
Schedule:
Flexible Days and times — open to instructor availability Compensation $65-$95 per session (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
Pay:
$65.00 - $95.00 per hour
