What We're Looking For:

Passion for working with children and interactive learning Creative, positive, and energetic personality to lead a classroom Strong communication skills Reliable, flexible, and able to work in dynamic environments Comfortable traveling locally Ability to lift up to 35 lbs Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification (Certification will be arranged by our team) Commitment to creating inclusive, diverse STEAM experiences 10-15 hours per week

Location:

Classes will be held throughout Fairfield County.

Schedule:

Teachers will work select mornings, afternoons and most school holidays, as well as some weekends. Assistant teachers may also be needed to attend marketing events.

Training:

All new teachers will go through paid training and shadow senior teachers prior to starting. Exact schedule TBD. Teachers will also have to attend a CPR training course or provide proof of certification within the last year.

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Professional development assistance Preferred Experience (Nice to Have): Teaching, coaching, or leading groups of children (teacher, camp counselor, etc) Experience with crafts, building, or circuits Familiarity with basic tools, simple software programming, or creative construction Teachers must be able to drive to different location sites within a 10-15 mile radius to instruct classes a various sites This is a Part-Time role with hours ranging from 10-15 hours per week. The number of hours per week varies. While we will try to accommodate your preferences and existing commitments, w eekdays, weekends and holidays will all make up parts of the schedule Seasonal and holiday hours available.

Pay:

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
