Job Description:

The Starz Program is hiring teachers for our Hampton Roads (Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Norfolk) location. The position will entail teaching dance (ballet/jazz), sports and/or cheerleading in various preschools and private schools within the area. This position is less than

PART TIME

(2-10 classes throughout the week), Monday-Friday during the day time hours.

What we look for in a

Starz Teacher:

Responsible arrives early to each class, can manage a class of up to 10 students, organized and can keep accurate attendance.

Professional neat in appearance, friendly and courteous with partner schools' staff.

Enthusiastic MUST enjoy teaching and working with young children, be able to confidently connect with children primarily ages 3-6.Fun enjoys having FUN with young children, being goofy, using your imagination, and watching children smile all while managing and teaching an effective class.

Reliable transportation must have reliable transportation to and from work and a valid drivers license.

Organization- Instructors are given a monthly lesson plan and curriculum to follow but will need time to prepare for classes outside of the classroom.
