We are looking for a driving instructor to conduct on-the-road instruction at least 2 weekdays after school from 3-5 pm, with the possibility of additional hours earlier in the day, based on student need. Additional hours are available during school vacations. Classroom instruction hours may also be available if interested.

Requirements:

Massachusetts Professional Driving Instructor (PDI) status through the Massachusetts RMV. Candidates who do not already possess PDI status may train with CCACE for free; employment is contingent upon PDI certification.

Duties:

Record keeping for tracking all aspects of each student's driver education training Communicating and reporting to students, parents, school management personnel, and the RMV Creating an environment conducive to learning whether in the car or in the classroom Providing helpful feedback to students regarding their learning and driving skills Maintaining impeccable safety standards at all times.

The successful candidate will:

Have some experience teaching or working with teenagers Be available for at least 2 after school lessons per week Please note: If you are not already a certified PDI, we can train you, however the training hours are not paid.
