Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a commitment to educating students on safe driving practices. This role involves behind-the-wheel training, ensuring that students gain the necessary skills and confidence to become responsible drivers. Why Widmyer Driving School This job is fun and rewarding. We offer a flexible work schedule - you choose your own hours, approximately 20-30 hours per week available. We provide and pay you for the training and certification required for the position. We have been in business for over 40 years. Responsibilities Provide hands-on driving instruction, guiding students through practical driving exercises. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their driving skills. Communicate effectively with students to address their questions and concerns regarding driving. Experience• Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Have a clean criminal background. Be at least 21 years of age or older. Possess a high school certificate of graduation or its equivalent. No reportable medical conditions that effect your driving or ability to teach. •In accordance with Code of Maryland Regulations to become a Certified Driving Instructor Join us in shaping the next generation of responsible drivers while enjoying a fulfilling part-time job as a Driving Instructor!
