A Driving Instructor is responsible for teaching students the rules of the road and the safe way to handle an automobile or motorcycle. This may involve both classroom and/or behind the wheel instruction. They are required to remain up to date with their regional and national traffic laws to insure proper curriculum and demonstration. Some inform their students on the process to obtain a valid driver's license in their region or nation.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
Northeast Technical Institute seeks adjunct faculty to teach a variety of CDL courses throughout the year. The instructor will deliver and use a learning management system. The courses may be morning or afternoon, weekdays or weekends, and will be taught on-ground at our Scarborough campus. Adjunct, part-time, and full-time positions are available.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a valid CDL A license At least two years of CDL A experience out of the last 10 years Must be able to show proof of a high school level education or equivalent A clean driving record Possess enthusiasm and passion for student learning and be able to respond to the needs of students using a variety of teaching methods Must be comfortable with using computers in various capacities
