• Instructor Preparation Program (IPP)
• What is the Instructor Preparation Program (IPP)?
• The program is structured into four required modules , each consisting of 45 hours of instruction: 501: Driver Task Analysis Focuses on understanding and analyzing the skills, knowledge, and decision-making processes required for safe driving.

502: Developing Classroom Instructional Knowledge Teaches effective classroom teaching methods, lesson planning, communication skills, and instructional strategies. 503: Developing Vehicle Operational Skills Develops advanced driving techniques and the ability to effectively teach behind-the-wheel instruction. 504: Student Teaching Practicum Provides hands-on teaching experience under supervision to apply classroom and in-vehicle instructional skills. Upon successful completion of all four modules, participants are prepared to meet State requirements for certification as a driver education instructor.
