BEHIND THE WHEEL DRIVING INSTRUCTOR

Safeway Driving School has helped Minnesota teens become safe drivers for over 55 years. We're looking for dependable, friendly individuals who enjoy working with students and want to make a positive impact. Great opportunity for entry-level candidates. Must be 21 or older with a valid U.S. driver's license for at least 3 years. Must not have Gross Misdemeanors, Felonies, or DUI/DWI. No teaching experience required — we provide paid training. Ideal for those comfortable being on the road and working independently. Job Responsibilities Teach teens how to drive in behind-the-wheel lessons. Provide clear, patient, and supportive instruction. Travel between lesson locations. Keep accurate records and communicate with families and staff. Benefits Health insurance, 401k, HSA/FSA, and employee assistance programs. Work Hours Full Time:

30-40 hours per week.

School Year:

Weekdays 12 PM-10 PM, Saturdays 6 AM-10 PM.

Summer:

Monday-Saturday 6 AM-10 PM. Closed Sundays year-round. Licensing and Training We help you prepare for and pass two state exams (written and road test.) All licensing fees covered. Paid training included.
