After School Teacher & Driver 2026-2027 School Year Discovery Kidzone Montessori School is hiring Part-Time After School Teachers and Drivers for the upcoming school year beginning in August 2026. We are looking for dependable, energetic team members who enjoy working with children and creating a positive, engaging environment after school each day. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, leading group activities, and helping children learn through play, creativity, and exploration. Position Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age Valid driver's license required Clean driving record required Comfortable driving a 14-passenger van or small bus Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities with children Responsibilities Safely transport children to and from local schools and scheduled activities Supervise children and maintain a safe, supportive environment Lead recreational activities, outdoor games, creative projects, and group experiences Encourage positive social interactions and teamwork Support children's independence, confidence, and problem-solving skills Assist with snacks, restroom routines, and classroom transitions when needed Communicate professionally with families and coworkers Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Collaborate with team members to support daily program operations Qualifications No prior experience required; paid training provided Positive, patient, and dependable attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to remain calm and organized in a busy environment Interest in working with school-age children CPR certification required within 30 days of hire Ability to complete all required state licensing trainings Compensation & Benefits Compensation is based on education and experience.
