A Driving Instructor is responsible for teaching students the rules of the road and the safe way to handle an automobile or motorcycle. This may involve both classroom and/or behind the wheel instruction. They are required to remain up to date with their regional and national traffic laws to insure proper curriculum and demonstration. Some inform their students on the process to obtain a valid driver's license in their region or nation.

F163-18 Announcement Summary This is a continuous recruitment pool not specifically advertised. The pool is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates. We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings. Instructors will be responsible for teaching face to face classes. Applicants will need to demonstrate a willingness to be flexible to accommodate the varied needs of a diverse student population. Please specify on your application what you would like to teach from the following areas. If you are qualified in an area not listed please include this information. HVAC Electrical Welding Pipe fitting Auto repair Auto restoration Industry Maintenance and Mechanics Hydraulics Plumbing CDL Heavy Diesel Mechanic OBD II Vehicle Safety Inspection OSHA Construction/General Industry Load Escort Certification NCCER Certified Instructor Duties The successful candidate will:
  • Teach face-to face classes to include days, evenings and some weekends on and off campus.
  • Be flexible to the needs of the students.
  • Complete necessary paperwork.
  • Participate in other educational activities as assigned.
