We are a growing North Carolina trucking company is hiring a Driver Trainer & Fleet Support Lead an experienced trucker who takes pride in making other drivers better. You'll recruit, train, and support our company drivers and owner-operator contractors, and help keep our fleet road-ready and compliant. This is a trusted, hands-on leadership role the person we count on to build great drivers and keep our trucks moving. Do not let the title of this ad scare you away, we will work with you and teach you, if you have BOX Truck driving experience with Over the road, you are a quick learner, good with browsing the web and have ppl communication skills, then you will do well What you'll do Recruit, interview, and onboard new drivers and owner-operator contractors Train drivers from the ground up a full day so they know everything before they take the wheel Coach real road skills: safe operation, fueling, mountain and brake handling Be the person drivers call on the road, and step in to finish a delivery when someone can't Inspect trucks when they return safety, cleanliness, GPS, and a test drive to catch any issue Keep the fleet compliant: DOT audits, MVR, Clearinghouse, logbooks, insurance, vehicle registration You should have A CDL and solid over-the-road experience Real knowledge of trucks and DOT rules Patience, a coaching mindset, and true ownership Willingness to occasionally go over the road a few nights when a driver quits with no notice (rare) Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus we work with Spanish-speaking team members and drivers, so being able to train and communicate in both languages helps everyone succeedPay & growthand 6 monthswith us 30 daysSchedule & LocationFull-time, weekends required Sundays every week and Saturdays as needed (trucks come in on theweekend for inspection and prep), with two weekdays off in exchange. Some weekend days are half days.
