A Driving Instructor is responsible for teaching students the rules of the road and the safe way to handle an automobile or motorcycle. This may involve both classroom and/or behind the wheel instruction. They are required to remain up to date with their regional and national traffic laws to insure proper curriculum and demonstration. Some inform their students on the process to obtain a valid driver's license in their region or nation.
Hendrickson Bus Corporation We are looking for a dedicated and safety-conscious SUV Driver to join our student transportation team. In this transitional role, the driver will operate a company-provided SUV using a regular (non-CDL) driver's license to safely transport students to and from school and related activities. While in this role, the driver will be actively enrolled in a training program with the goal of obtaining the required endorsements. While Operating an SUV (Non-CDL): Safely transport students following assigned routes and schedules Ensure student safety during pick-up, transit, and drop-off Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly vehicle interior Communicate professionally with dispatch , school staff, and supervisors Complete required trip documentation and incident reports Learn and apply student transportation safety procedures and emergency protocols Demonstrate steady progress toward licensure and professional development goals Join our team and play an important role in safely transporting children, building connections, and making a lasting difference in your community every day.
Requirements:
Valid regular (Class D) driver's license Clean driving record and strong attendance Commitment to completing training and obtaining Passenger (P) endorsement Ability to pass background check , drug screening, and DOT physical Professional, reliable, and student-focused
Pay Rate:
