Now Hiring:
School Bus Driver & Driver Trainer Are you passionate about safety, mentorship, and making a difference in your community? Join our team as a School Bus Driver & Driver Trainer and help shape the next generation of professional drivers while safely transporting students each day!
What You'll Do:
Safely transport students to and from school and activities Train and mentor new school bus drivers, including behind-the-wheel instruction Reinforce safe driving practices, student management, and company policies Support new hires through the onboarding and training process Serve as a role model for professionalism, safety, and customer service Duties will include, but not limited to: Teach classroom Behind the wheel training Participate in monthly safety meetings Conduct annual driver evaluations Follow up on discipline reports Maintain employee files for compliance Effective communication with co-workers, district staff, students, parents, and general public Ability to help out with routes on short notice
Qualifications:
Must have a Class B CDL with School Bus and Passenger endorsements and 2 years of Safety Training experience. Detail oriented Computer Skills Excellent communication skills Organized Ability to teach/coach employees Ability to multi-task
What We're Looking For:
Valid CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements Clean driving record and strong commitment to safety Minimum of 2 years school bus driving experience required Training, coaching, or leadership experience preferred Strong communication and leadership skills Patient, dependable, and team-oriented Premium pay for 19A or SBDI trainer certification up to date
Compensation:
$25-28 hourly
