At Jungle Driving School, our instructor's unwavering dedication to keeping young drivers safe and prepared through our unique curriculum, sets us apart. As a JDS Instructor, you'll enjoy the rewarding opportunity to guide new drivers through every step of learning to safely operate a vehicle, empowering them to navigate the road with confidence and skill. If you are ready to join our mission of Saving Lives, One Teen at a Time, we'd love to have you join our Jungle Driving School team in Twinsburg, Solon, Beachwood, Hudson, and surrounding areas. This paid position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a supportive and engaging work environment. Responsibilities Teach critical driving skills to teens and young adults through Jungle Driving and State of Ohio approved curriculum, through in-person classroom and/or Behind the Wheel setting. Educate students on the essential motor vehicle laws, including speed limits, pedestrian rights, accident reporting, and insurance regulations, so they are fully equipped drivers. Instruct students on how to drive safely in common driving situations and scenarios, including city road, highways, roundabouts, and common maneuvarability and parking scenarios. For Behind the Wheel instructors, conduct practical lessons in Jungle Driving School company vehicles. Assess student progress regularly, including administering tests and quizzes to ensure students retain important information and are ready for the road. Foster strong connections with students and parents by creating a collaborative environment that supports student learning. Additional duties may include assistance with other related tasks as needed to support our driving program and students' success. Qualifications Current Driver's Education Certificate. Training Manager certification a plus. Over 21 with a Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experienced driver who has a solid understanding and appreciation of motor vehicle laws and vehicle operation, and willing to share this knowledge with the next generation of drivers. Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with students as an engaging and supportive instructor through classroom and or one-on-one coaching setting. Patient, positive and ability to remain calm when conducting Behind The Wheel instruction. Strong commitment to traffic safety education and adherence to all traffic regulations during instruction sessions.
