A Driving Instructor is responsible for teaching students the rules of the road and the safe way to handle an automobile or motorcycle. This may involve both classroom and/or behind the wheel instruction. They are required to remain up to date with their regional and national traffic laws to insure proper curriculum and demonstration. Some inform their students on the process to obtain a valid driver's license in their region or nation.

Job Description
Monday-Friday:
1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.- Must be available to work full-day shifts during school breaks and closures, including but not limited to:
- Christmas Break
- Spring Break
- Teacher In-Service Days
- Weather Closures
- Other scheduled school holidays and breaks Position Responsibilities
- Safely transport children to and from local schools using the center's bus.
- Provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing after-school environment.
- Plan and supervise age-appropriate activities, homework assistance, games, and enrichment opportunities.
- Maintain active supervision of children at all times.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Follow all licensing, safety, and program policies. Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience working with children in a childcare center, school, camp, or similar setting.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass all required background checks and meet Ohio childcare employment requirements. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving a school bus or passenger van
- CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
