Full-Time Description Danella Construction Corp is seeking a knowledgeable, patient, and safety-minded Commercial Driving Instructor to train the next generation of professional drivers. In this role, the selected will guide employees through comprehensive behind-the-wheel and classroom instruction, ensuring they possess the skills, confidence, and safety habits required to be successful in the industry. Key Responsibilities Hands-on Training Teach fundamental road skills, vehicle control, shifting, and advanced backing maneuvers
Pre Trip Inspections:
Conduct thorough instruction on pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip vehicle inspection procedures.
Safety & Compliance:
Instill deep knowledge of federal and Pennsylvania state safety guidelines, DOT regulations, company policies, and procedures aligning with the rules of the road.
Coaching & Monitoring:
Observe and monitor student drivers on a daily basis, providing constructive feedback for continuous skill improvement.
Evaluation:
Assess student progress accurately, maintain training logs, and determine readiness for the commercial driver's license exam. Qualifications Valid Class A or B Commercial Driving License (CDL) with a clean driving record Minimum 5 years of professional driving experience Excellent communication, instructional, and interpersonal skills Patience and a strong commitment to student success and safety Previous experience as a driver trainer or instructor is highly preferred but not required Benefits Danella offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and on-the-job training and advancement opportunities.
