Job Description
Embark on a Journey of Impactful Adventure Provide transportation using a non-CDL vehicle for YMCA childcare and teen programs. This position is a year-round position, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, depending on branch programs and needs. Who Are We? Report any safety concerns to supervisor immediately. Maintain the vehicle in good working order and that all required maintenance has been performed. This includes ensuring that the vehicle is appropriately fueled. Maintain trip schedule for children as defined by staff. Drives YMCA vehicles safely according to YMCA policies, procedures and state laws. What You'll Need 3 years of bus driving experience preferred Must be 21 years of age Annual completion of online defensive driving required Good driving record required (Checked annually) Obtain and maintain all additional new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire Work Conditions and Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
