Job Description
Are you a kid at heart? Do you enjoy teaching? Performance? Science!? Mr. Bond, Science Guy is seeking a contract Club Instructor to support our mission to inspire every child to love science! As a Club Instructor, you will prepare our pre-written lesson plans and bring them to life through instruction, engagement, and energy. The goal is to maintain an exciting learning environment, and make science fun while building lifelong memories.
Contract Details:
Location:
South of Nashville (Franklin, Thompson's Station, Spring Hill, Columbia); requires visit to Lab in East Nashville 1x a week
Dates:
Oct 19th to Dec 1st, 2026
Schedule:
M-F @ 4:15 PM-5:15 PM, potential for additional programs
Program Type:
Club Role Overview:
Learn and execute lesson plans from our catalog to educate and entertain classes. Utilize classroom management skills to maintain a controlled and judgement-free atmosphere. Travel to schools to deliver programs. Tailor presentation style to suit different learning styles. Maintain a fun and energetic atmosphere during clubs to keep children engaged.
Qualifications:
Ability to meet schedule requirements listed above. Ability to pass a background check. Ability to travel with a reliable vehicle and driver's license. Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, reach overhead, and kneel. Passion for science and education. Creativity and a fun-loving attitude. Experience working with kids ages 3-12 in some capacity required. Experience in teaching, improv, acting, or performing is highly desirable.
