This may involve both classroom and/or behind the wheel instruction. CDL-A with at least 3 months of qualifying driving experience and ability to meet mentor eligibility requirements

If you're an experienced Class A driver who knows how to run safely, communicate professionally, and help another driver succeed, this Mentor position gives you the opportunity to turn that experience into serious earning potential. As a Driver Mentor, you can earn on all eligible truck miles — including miles driven by your student. While your student is gaining experience behind the wheel, the truck keeps moving and your earning opportunity keeps growing. And unlike mentor programs that may keep trainers out for 3-4 weeks, mentor runs average approximately 11 days OTR. $2,200-$2,600 WEEKLY
INCOME POTENTIAL
Your compensation opportunity includes: $2,200-$2,600 weekly income potential Experience-based tiered CPM pay Additional $0.10 CPM while training Additional $0.04 CPM productivity bonus when applicable Pay on eligible miles driven by both you and your student $500 bonus after your student reaches 10,000 safe miles $300 bonus after your student reaches 20,000 safe miles
ELITE MENTOR REWARDS
After successfully training 6 qualifying students , mentors can become eligible to earn: $0.01 CPM on qualifying miles those drivers run during their first solo year. Help develop successful drivers while creating an additional long-term earning opportunity.
TRAIN STUDENTS
OR TAKE A BREAK AND RUN SOLO
Mentor runs average approximately 11 days OTR. Students are required to drive a minimum of 5 hours per day , allowing the truck to remain productive while you provide hands-on instruction and coaching. One of the biggest advantages of this program is flexibility. You don't have to train students nonstop. Between students, qualified mentors may have the option to: Take a break from training and run solo Move into an available dedicated account in their area Take scheduled time off before accepting another student Return to mentoring when ready Continue running available freight between students Dedicated opportunities are based on account availability and hiring area. Mentor trucks may also receive priority loads and dispatch support.

For qualified drivers interested in moving beyond the company-driver path, an optional Peterbilt lease opportunity may also be available. Eligible drivers may have the opportunity to: Lease a Peterbilt No money down No credit check Transition from company driver/mentor into a lease opportunity still allows you to mentor and get paid while training Build toward greater independence without a traditional truck purchase Leasing is completely optional and subject to program eligibility, equipment availability, lease terms, operating costs, and applicable requirements. PAID MENTOR DEVELOPMENT
You won't simply be handed a student and expected to figure it out. The NextGen Mentor Training Program provides structured training designed to prepare you to coach developing CDL-A drivers successfully. $850 mentor training completion pay Hotel and meals provided during qualifying training Additional eligible student pickup/dispatch incentives Online mentor training checklist Structured coaching system Ongoing mentor and student support
