We are the best defensive driving course in TN. Still, we service everywhere in the U.S. We are seeking a part-time, qualified driving instructor for in-car driving lessons for teens and adults. This position requires patience, teaching skills, personal skills, quick reaction time, and high moral character. You will be working between 15 - 25 hours a week, contingent on your availability and the student schedule. We train students when it is daylight, so you will have the ability to tailor your schedule.
Driving Instructor Responsibilities:
Preparing lessons that are tailored to students' needs. Providing instruction on the parts and functions of a vehicle and on-road regulations. Teaching practical skills related to all aspects of driving. Helping students to develop confidence in their driving skills. Gaining control of the vehicle during emergencies. Calming students who are in distress. Documenting and reporting on students' progress. Monitor students' progress and inform them when they are ready to take the driver's test. Reporting all accidents to the manager or owner of the driving school.
Driving Instructor Requirements:
Must be at least 30 years of age High school diploma or equivalent. Clear driving record (no major infractions or no more than two minor infractions) Clear criminal record. Must pass a background check. Valid driving license for the level at which you will be teaching. Valid driving instructor's license or certification. Proven experience as a driving instructor. Excellent verbal and written communication. Patience and enthusiasm. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to work during evenings and on weekends, as required. We require both our instructors and students to follow safety protocols as per the
