In this versatile role, you will provide flexible classroom support across multiple age groups, ensuring a smooth and enriching experience for children. Additionally, you will be responsible for safely transporting children to and from our facility, maintaining a secure environment at all times. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine teaching assistance with responsible driving, fostering a nurturing space where children can thrive and grow. All roles are paid, emphasizing our commitment to valuing every team member's contribution. Duties Support classroom teachers by assisting with child supervision, activities, and behavior management to promote positive development. Provide direct care for children, including engaging in age-appropriate play, learning activities, and developmental instruction. Safely operate the vehicle to transport children to scheduled outings, appointments, or field trips following all safety protocols. Ensure the safety and well-being of children during transit by adhering to pediatric first aid and CPR guidelines. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and transportation schedules. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and classroom environment, following health and safety standards. Assist with daily classroom setup, cleanup, and routine tasks to support a welcoming learning atmosphere. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving with children is preferred. Certification in first aid and CPR; pediatric first aid training is highly desirable. Experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; knowledge of childhood development is essential. Familiarity with special education needs and behavior management strategies for children with disabilities or additional support requirements. Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare.
