Responsibilities Conduct engaging classroom sessions on traffic laws, safety procedures, and defensive driving techniques for diverse student groups. Provide personalized behind-the-wheel instruction in standard passenger cars, motorcycles, and off-road settings to build confidence and competence. Teach advanced driving skills such as highway maneuvers, night driving, adverse weather techniques, and special needs driver instruction. Assess student progress regularly, offer constructive feedback, and tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs. Ensure all driving activities comply with local traffic laws and safety standards at all times. Maintain detailed records of lessons delivered, student performance, and progress reports. Communicate effectively with clients to set expectations, answer questions, and foster a positive learning environment. Requirements Proven experience in senior driver instruction with a strong understanding of various driving environments including highway, night, adverse weather, and off-road conditions. Demonstrated classroom management skills combined with excellent communication abilities for effective adult education and teen driver instruction. Proficiency in operating standard passenger cars and motorcycles with manual transmissions; experience in motorcycle safety instruction preferred. Knowledge of traffic safety regulations and defensive driving techniques; ability to teach special needs driver instruction if applicable. Ability to instruct on personal driving skills as well as driver rehabilitation programs for clients seeking improvement or re-entry into safe driving practices. Strong interpersonal skills for working with students of diverse backgrounds; experience in classroom settings highly desirable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; familiarity with highway maneuvers and adverse weather driving techniques essential.
