We are a STEM-based kids enrichment company, and we are looking for an energetic person to teach/instruct drone flying and STEM Robotics enrichment programs during the school year. We are fortunate to teach at some of the best independent and public schools in the area, offering campers a very unique learning experience. This is a great opportunity for teachers, education students, retirees, or anyone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful impact while earning extra income. Our students have a blast in our innovative and fun flying camps and we hope it creates a sense of curiosity in STEM learning that will last for years to come. Position Details Part-time position (typically 2-10 hours per week ) Programs meet one afternoon each week on a consistent day throughout the semester/school year Classes are held on-site at local schools Paid training provided before the season begins No drone experience? No problem! We provide both virtual and in-person training to prepare all instructors for success. Many of our new instructors tell us they enjoy learning something completely new while gaining the confidence to teach it.
Responsibilities:
Must work well with elementary aged children Responsible and Organized Reliable transportation Background check and FBI fingerprinting are required CPR/First Aid certification may be needed Reliable email, text and phone communication Experience with drone flying is a bonus, but not necessary Teaching/Class Management experience is preferred

Teaching Duties and Responsibilities Preparation:
Attend required training sessions Maintains equipment in proper condition DroneTogether uniform is worn to each session Arrives at least 15 minutes early for each session for class set up Have the attendance sheet or roster ready for check in and check out
Teaching:
Ensures the safety and well-being of every child, first and foremost. Follow proper on site protocol for each location, as provided by supervisor and/or site director: most importantly is the pick up and drop off of each student. Follow the proper daily DroneTogether plan. Use Growth Mindset language to guide students through challenges.
Communication/Administration:
Communicates in a timely fashion with the supervisor about any changes, challenges, or important information / concerns. Distribute marketing materials at the location when necessary.
