We are dedicated to delivering high-quality instruction that equips our students with the skills and confidence needed to become safe, responsible drivers. Summary We are seeking a driving instructor and potential testing administrator to join our team at Central Texas Driving School. In this role, you will be responsible for providing safe and effective instruction for students during their driving lessons. Your expertise will help shape the next generation of drivers in our community. This is a seasonal position. Instructors will be busier when students are out of school for holidays and the summer. Responsibilities Provide clear instructions and guidance during driving sessions. Assist students in developing their driving skills and confidence. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to improve their performance. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. If not currently a trained driving instructor, must be willing to train. After 1 year of Driving Instructor certificate, potentially train to be a drive test administrator Requirements Valid Texas Class C driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong communication skills to effectively instruct students. Ability to remain calm and patient in various situations. Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices. Certified Teacher preferred Must train to become a licensed Driving Instructor. We will provide that training for free. Retired teachers and administrators welcome!
