A Driving Instructor is responsible for teaching students the rules of the road and the safe way to handle an automobile or motorcycle. This may involve both classroom and/or behind the wheel instruction. They are required to remain up to date with their regional and national traffic laws to insure proper curriculum and demonstration. Some inform their students on the process to obtain a valid driver's license in their region or nation.

Job Description

Responsibilities include the fun, creative and enthusiastic teaching of Nordic lessons, leading snowshoe tours, assisting with trail grooming, ski condition reporting, ice rink maintenance, driving snowmobiles when needed, assisting the desk staff in any way needed, as well as cleaning and maintaining the Nordic area. Requirements Must be an Advanced Nordic Skier with the ability to teach beginner level skiers, and have excellent customer service and great communication skills. Black ski pants must be furnished by employee. Departmental, instructor/guide/groomer training required.
