What they do
A Driving Instructor is responsible for teaching students the rules of the road and the safe way to handle an automobile or motorcycle. This may involve both classroom and/or behind the wheel instruction. They are required to remain up to date with their regional and national traffic laws to insure proper curriculum and demonstration. Some inform their students on the process to obtain a valid driver's license in their region or nation.

Job Description
REQUIREMENTS
- Be over the age of 21 (licensed for 5 years)
- Must have a valid Washington State Driver's License
- Must have a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Must NOT have more than 2 moving violations within 3 years
- Must pass DOT drug screening, and a mandatory criminal background check
- Must be available to work 32 to 40 hours a week
- Must have an open availability
- Must be physically able to secure clients in wheelchairs or other devices
- Must have a positive attitude and compassion to help others
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish transparent communication with dispatch.
- Fully utilize a smartphone.
- Complete Pre-Trip and Post-Trip inspections, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Transport clients using a company vehicle safely and securely.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
