Job Description
Job Overview Are you a licensed driving instructor looking for flexible, well-compensated teaching hours? We are seeking certified Driving Instructors to join our growing team in the Greater Seattle / Snohomish County area on a part-time, on-call basis. In this role, you will deliver professional behind-the-wheel instruction and/or classroom sessions to teens, college students, and adult learners. We offer competitive hourly pay, fully equipped dual-brake training vehicles, and a flexible schedule that easily accommodates your existing commitments. Responsibilities Conduct safe, professional Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) driving instruction for teen and adult students. Administer driver training aligned with Washington Department of Licensing (DOL) curriculum and safety standards. Evaluate student progress, provide constructive coaching, and maintain accurate driving log records. Ensure the safe operation and care of school-provided dual-brake training vehicles during all scheduled shifts. (Optional/As qualified) Conduct DOL knowledge testing, drive testing, or classroom theory sessions. Qualifications & Requirements Must currently hold a valid Washington State Driver Training School (DTS) Instructor License (or valid
WA OSPI/TSE
Teacher Certification). Valid Washington State Driver's License with a clean 5-year driving abstract. Must pass mandatory WA DOL criminal background check and FBI fingerprint clearance. Patient, professional demeanor with excellent verbal communication skills. Willingness to associate your instructor license with our approved school branch location. Bilingual proficiency (English + Mandarin or other languages) is a strong plus, but not required.

$28.00
•$38.00 / hour (commensurate with credentials and exam endorsement).

•25 hours/week (flexible shifts available for weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekends).
